Who is behind Care and maid?

Claire Vinçonneau-Perrot

Having grown up in France, I left the country as a 25 years-old seeking new challenges. Since 1997 I have lived in several European capitals, and as a French-Swiss citizen, I speak English, French, German and Spanish.

My first 20 years abroad were professionally dedicated to an international franchise leader in dry-cleaning and textile care. I led teams in Barcelona (Spain) for 5 years. From London (UK) – where I was based for 5 years as well, I launched the international training standards for the chain. To lead the international training academy from the headquarters in Geneva, I moved with my family to Zürich (Switzerland) – where we have been living since 2006.

These adventures fulfilled me with a wide international experience from South America to Asia through the Middle East, giving me the opportunity to work with different people, different mindsets and to care about different types of garments and fibres through different types of climates.

From 2014, I have been teaching “textile care managers” for their federal VET diploma in the French speaking part of Switzerland (Vaud Canton) and since 2021 I have also been teaching “textile care managers” in German for their federal VET diploma at the STF school in Zurich (https://www.stf.ch/mitarbeitende/?paged3=3&paged2=4).

I am also contributing to the elaboration and modification of the federal learning programmes & exams for the branch, working with both the “Swiss federal institute for vocational education and training” and the “Swiss textile care association”. Besides, I am a member of the training and further education commissions within the Swiss textile care association, an accredited expert to the practical vocational exams of the textile care branch in Switzerland and an assessor for the validation of the professional experience in textile care.

In 2017, I studied at the “Minding Manners Academy” in London, and I am certified as an “international business etiquette consultant and cross-cultural specialist”.

In 2020, I obtained the Swiss certification for vocational training teacher (300 hours training in vocational pedagogy with SFIVET Enseignant-e-s en activité accessoire | Swiss Federal university for Vocational Education and Training SFUVET. Since 2021, I am EDUQA accredited by SVEB, with the M1, as trainer for adults SVEB Trainer Certificate – SVEB (alice.ch)

Since 2022, I am a member of the executive Committee of the GINETEX Switzerland, the national association for textile labelling https://www.ginetex.ch/en/ginetex-switzerland/team/

In 2024, The Geneva Department of Education for Vocational Training and Continuing Education asked me to be their commissioner for the “textile care managers” VET among the Vocational Training Service for the canton.

In parallel, as head of business development, I have been helping digital entrepreneurs and start-uppers develop their new ideas and concepts among Swiss, French, Spanish and Maghreb markets.

I am a mother of 2 young people who are now students. As a busy working mother who has been travelling a lot, I had to organize suitable care for my children and the house. Highly organized, benevolent, and demanding, I have a long experience of recruiting and coaching staff within the textile care industry, nannies, AuPair and cleaning staff.

Thanks to all these experiences, I wish to help companies and families to train and coach their staff for the ultimate experience in textile care, housekeeping and customer service.
